The University of Minnesota Office of Information Technology makes available some discounted or no-cost software to students, faculty, and staff for work-related and personal use.

For Departmental Purchases:

  1. Select a product name linked below. 
  2. A page for that software will display.
  3. Review licensing details to ensure your intended use is allowed.
  4. Follow the instructions for the available licenses (department, employee, or student). 
    • You will be directed to a software order site, a download site or the vendor's site depending on the product and available licensing. 

For Personal Purchase needs we have a storefront through Kivuto where some software can be purchased with personal funds. Do not use UMN funds on this Kivuto store

It is your responsibility to make sure you are using software in accordance with University policy and vendor terms.
