Download and Install JMP
JMP License
Request to download new JMP license files if your copy of JMP is reporting an expired license. Inside the zipped files you download you will find updated license files for versions 15, 16, and 17.
Instructions for Employees
If you would like to use JMP for personal non-UMN related teaching, learning, research, or administrative needs, purchase a license through JMP at academic prices.
If you need to use this software exclusively for UMN related teaching, learning, or research and you want to install it on a personally owned device, follow the Instructions for Departments and Students above.
Instructions for Duluth campus
If you are an instructor, contact ITSS to see if JMP can be made available in Apps4U for your course.
If you are a student you can check to see if JMP is available in Apps4U. You should not need to fill out the Request JMP Download form to acquire the software.

- This software is available only as a download.
- This software can be installed on up to two computers that are used by the licensee as long as the software is not running on both computers at the same time.
- Our license contracts provides you with both JMP Pro.

Our license is for one year with an added 90 day grace period. If you need to use the software after it stops working, come back to this page download the software again.
