The Next Generation Network WiFi system has been reimagined to improve performance and security. The new system will have three WiFi networks: eduroam, UofM Secure, and UofM-Guest.

Change of base IP address for all authenticated client-facing WiFi clients
As part of the Next Generation Network (NGN) upgrade work, the NGN team is consolidating all authenticated wireless clients into a new range of IP addresses.
New version of Adobe Acrobat
On October 15, 2017 Adobe Acrobat and Reader XI will no longer be updated or supported by Adobe. The current software will be replaced by Adobe Acrobat DC.

MyU and related services unavailable April 1 & 2
MyU, PeopleSoft applications, and other related online services such as APAS and Grad Planner will be unavailable due to system updates on Saturday and Sunday, April 1 and 2.
