Instructions for Departments, Employees, and Students
The current version of macOS can be obtained through an app installed on your computer. Before upgrading, please read Apple's How to Upgrade to macOS.
If you are an employee in a unit that uses our Onsite Support for University-owned Devices service:
- Go to your Applications folder.
- Select Self Service.app.
- Select Operating Systems.
- Select the Upgrade button.
If you are a student or an employee in another unit:
- Go to your Applications folder.
- Select App Store.app.
- Select Updates or search for "macos."
