Instructions for Departments
SharePoint Server is not in widespread use at the University, some of its features may be covered by other more widely adopted services, including ones offered through Google.
Like OneDrive, Sharepoint is not enabled under the University's Office 365 license agreement and is not supported by University of Minnesota OIT. This is due to the fact there are not support mechanisms in place to support the usage of Sharepoint through Office 365. This might change in the future, but at this time there is no concrete date for Sharepoint to be enabled.
