Creating a Permanent Archive
At times there may be a need to access content even after it has been unpublished or deleted from the Technology Help website. This includes:
- Content you may want to reuse (wording around a service that might apply to a future service)
- Content that specifies access levels to technologies.
- Content around a major change.
- News content that may be reused or reposted.
In these cases, we encourage content owners to create an archive of the content in a shared Google Drive or other storage area before it is deleted.
Request a Page be Unpublished or Deleted
Some content editors are not able to directly unpublish or delete a page. You will need to submit a request. To request a page or collection of pages be unpublished or deleted, fill out an OIT Digital Content and Communications Request.
