Overview
The Self Managed Server Hosting service provides infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) free of charge to University IT units. This service enables IT staff to choose any server operating system they want to run, and have complete administrative control of their virtual server. You provide tier I- and II-level support to the end users of the service; we provide tier 3-level support to you and manage the virtual environment and the underlying physical infrastructure.
Nightly backups are provided, if requested. Restores are available through the Technology Help service desk.
