The InCommon SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate service allows you to obtain security certificates for your website (departmental or research group websites). SSL Certificates authenticate and encrypt digital communication. Staff and faculty who develop web applications can request SSL Certificates to protect data entered into those applications or sites.
