Versions
Microsoft Fabric
Microsoft Fabric is a unified data analytics platform designed to simplify and centralize data management, processing, and analysis across organizations. It integrates multiple Microsoft services into a single environment. Fabric includes access to a subset of Power BI features. You can view Power BI reports that have been shared with you, but you will not be able to share reports with other users.
Power BI Pro
Power BI Pro is a business analytics service from Microsoft that enables users to visualize data, share insights, and collaborate on reports and dashboards.
Power BI Premium
Power BI Premium is a business analytics service from Microsoft that enables users to visualize data, share insights, and collaborate on reports and dashboards. Compared to the Pro version, Premium supports additional compute and storage capacity and increased update frequency.

*Power BI Pro and Power BI Premium: University departments can purchase Power BI Pro licenses for student workers. Students cannot purchase it for personal use.
Getting Access
Access to software licensed by the University is based on University affiliation and sometimes the device on which the software is installed.
It is your responsibility to make sure you are using the software in accordance with the University's Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources policy and software terms and conditions, plus any vendor terms listed below.
