Training Hub: Set a Relative Due Date

Training administrators in Training Hub can set a relative due date for each section of a course. This due date can be applied to learners that are enrolled via a process such as the HIPAA picker, via self-enrollment, or both. 

Setting a relative due date

  1. Log in to Training Hub.
  2. Select Admin Console
  3. Select Manage Courses.
  4. Locate the course and select Edit.
  5. Scroll down and locate the section in the table and select Edit.
  6. Scroll down to the Relative Due Date options.
    1. Select the appropriate check box(es) for your needs:
      • Apply a relative due date to all learners enrolled by an automated process such as via training plan. This option also applies to HIPAA Picker enrollments.
      • Apply a relative due date to self-enrollments.
    2. Choose a number under Interval and an appropriate Period:
      •  When a learner is enrolled, they will have a due date based on the number of calendar days/weeks/months after their enrollment.
      • Some examples:
        • If the Interval and Period is "1 Week," and the learner enrolls on March 10, their due date will be March 17.
        • If the Interval and Period is "4 Weeks," and the learner enrolls on March 10, their due date will be April 7.
        • If the Interval and Period is "1 Month," and the learner enrolls on March 10, their due date will be April 10.
  7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save.

Enrolling learners via the Enroll Learner option in the Admin Console

When a training administrator or proxy enroller enrolls a learner or learners, they are able to define a specific due date. Relative due dates are only applied to learners enrolled via the option(s) selected.
