Teams are empowered to change Stories at any point during a PI or iteration to reflect the actual work that is needed.
Whenever work changes for a team, the Scrum Coach should communicate with the Product Owner and Product Manager to ensure the work is prioritized correctly. Some work may need to be postponed or deprioritized so the higher priority work can be completed, but the Product Owner and Product Manager should make the decision about which work is postponed.
If a Story needs more or different work than was initially thought during planning, the team can:
- Add new Acceptance Criteria or adjust current Acceptance Criteria.
- Increase or decrease Story Points.
If a Feature needs more or different work than was initially thought during planning, the team can:
