Mitel 6869 Phone: Conference a Call

This article details how to use the Mitel 6869 Voice over IP (VoIP) phone to conference a call.

Conferencing a Call

Tip: The screen is not a touchscreen. Press the physical button on the phone next to the indicated option on the screen. 

  1. Begin a call with the first party.
  2. Press Conf softkey.

  3. Dial the next party.

  4. This is the point where you have the option to conference the call or to cancel the conference call.
    1. Conference the call.
      1. Press Conf softkey.

      2. You have now completed the conference. 
    2. Cancel the conference call and return to the original party.
      1. Press the Drop softkey.

      2. Press Pickup to go back to the original party.

      3. You have now cancelled the conference call and gone back to the original party.
