Adobe Creative Cloud: Purchasing Under the University's Negotiated ETLA Contract
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) offers a way to purchase Creative Cloud suite and Adobe Captivate licenses under terms that protect the University of Minnesota: the Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA).
Why purchase through the Enterprise Agreement?
The terms of the ETLA are negotiated by the Office of Information Technology directly with Adobe. Unlike purchases made through a Volume Incentive Program (VIP), through UMarket, or through the Adobe website, the ETLA provides:
- Legal protections and compliance: Provides legal protections against unwanted vendor actions, litigation and potential fines.
- Data security: Allows product configuration in alignment with University Information Security (UIS) and HIPAA policies, protecting University data.
- Flexible license stewardship: Provides license assignment flexibility to improve stewardship of University and unit funds.
How to purchase and action required
The full Creative Cloud suite and Adobe Captivate licenses are available under the ETLA. To renew your license or place a new order for an Adobe ETLA license, use the Adobe Request Form.
