TDX: Use the People App

All technicians in TDX have access to the People App, which you can use to find customers and their ticket history or to find groups to view technician members.

Finding People with the People App

  1. Open the Applications Menu
  2. Select People.

  3. Click People in the left hand menu.

  4. Enter a name in the Search Text field, select an Account/Department, or enter a Phone Number.
  5. Check/Uncheck the boxes for User (Technicians)or Customer (Clients), depending on what you're searching for.
  6. Select the Search button  at the top of the window. All items matching your search parameters appear in the main window.
  7. Select a person in the list. The Person Detail page will open in a new window.
  8. View the details of the person, including both Tickets and Assets associated with them.

Finding Group Members with the People App

  1. Open the Applications Menu
  2.  Select People.

  3. Click Groups in the left hand menu.

  4. Enter a group name in the Search field.
  5. Select the Search button  at the top of the window. All groups matching your search term appear in the main window. 
  6. Select the group name in the list. The group will open in a new window.
  7. View the details of the group, including membership and group manager.
    • Click on the To Excel button to export the group details to a spreadsheet.
