You can set up a filter in your University email account to automatically forward all Major Incident communications from TeamDynamix to your mobile device. You will need your mobile carrier's forwarding email address for this process. See common carrier addresses below.
Adding Your Mobile Device as a Forwarding Contact in Your Gmail
- Go to your University Gmail account.
- If you have not previously set up a forwarding email address in your account, follow the instructions to Turn on Automatic Forwarding first.
- Leave the automatic forwarding option disabled for now in your account. You will use this information below when you create a filter.
- Enter your mobile device number with your carrier email information in the address forwarding field. See common carriers listed below or contact your carrier for this email address:
- T-Mobile – [email protected].
- Virgin Mobile – [email protected].
- AT&T – Does not support email to text
- Sprint – [email protected].
- Verizon – [email protected].
- Google Fi - [email protected]
- Tracfone – [email protected].
- Ting – [email protected].
- Boost Mobile – [email protected].
Creating a Filter to Forward Major Incident Ticket Notifications to Your Mobile Device
- Create a filter for Major Incident notifications from TDX using the following filter information:
- From: [email protected]
- Subject: Major Incident Created
- After you select Create a Filter, choose the Forward it to… option.
- Your mobile device's email information that you input above should be available in the drop down menu selection for this filter type.
