The Retrospective tool in Targetprocess is designed for team Iteration Retrospectives.
This tool can also be useful to solicit feedback in a PI Inspect and Adapt event. The RTE may want to combine using this tool with an outside visualization tool such as Zoom Whiteboard.
Adding Feedback to a Retrospective
Each team or ART member should create Feedback by following these directions.
- Navigate to Collecting Feedback.
- Expand Teams, then Retrospectives, then select Collecting Feedback.
- Filter by the appropriate Retrospective as directed by your Scrum Coach or RTE.
- Refer to Filtering the Content of a View or Folder for instructions.
- Participants should add Feedback items:
- Hover to select the + icon in the appropriate row of the Feedback column (Worked Well, Didn't Work Well, Improvement Idea).
- Enter a descriptive Name.
- Select the Teams if desired.
- This step is not required, but may be helpful if Feedback is specific to a team.
- Select Add.
Grouping Feedback
The Scrum Coach or RTE should work with participants to group the feedback.
- Create Feedback Groups.
- Hover to select the + icon in the appropriate row of the Feedback Group column (Worked Well, Didn't Work Well, Improvement Idea).
- Enter a descriptive Name.
- Select the Teams if desired.
- This step is not required, but may be helpful if Feedback is specific to a team.
- Select Add.
- Combine Feedback items into Feedback Groups.
- Right-click the Feedback item, then select Add Relation….
- Select the appropriate Feedback Group item, then select Relation.
- Note: The Feedback item will disappear from the Collecting Feedback view, but it can be managed from within the Feedback Group details on the Relations tab.
Voting on Feedback Groups
Participants can vote on the Feedback Group by adding their initials as a tag.
- Right-click the Feedback Group, then select Change Tags….
- Type your name or initials, then select Add.
- Note: The number of Votes shown on the Feedback Group will automatically adjust based on the number of Tags.
