Targetprocess: Create an Iteration Goal

When starting a new Iteration, your Iteration goals can be added to the Team's Objectives & Goals view. The Objectives & Goals view is used to manage Iteration goals and how they align to Team PI Objectives.

Establishing Iteration Goals

1. Navigate to the Objectives & Goals view.
   • Expand Teams, then Team Overview, then select Objectives & Goals.
2. Use the Team filter to show the appropriate Team.
3. (Optional) Use the Program Increment filter to show Team PI Objectives from the appropriate PI.
4. Expand the corresponding Team PI Objective or No Team PI Objective area.
5. Select the + icon next to Iteration Goals.
   Note: Stories can also be created from within the required Team Iteration details.
6. In the Iteration Goal pop-up window, enter the goal in the Name field.
   • Check that the correct team is identified in the Teams field.
7. Select Add.
