Phones: Dialing Instructions for Campus, Local, National, and International calls

These instructions in general apply to the campus phones (ITE & STE) served by our PBX. There is some correlation to VOIP phones that we use, and even then it depends on if they are of the Clearspan Communicator type used on the computer, or the Mitel 68XXX series Phones.

Note: We do NOT support VOIP for Fairview Customers (612-273-XXXX Numbers). Look for the word Exception where applicable.

Converting 5-digit Campus Numbers to 10-Digit Phone Numbers

All Minneapolis and St. Paul Campus extenstion numbers begin with the area code of 612.
If the 5-digit extension number begins with a 4, 5, or 6, the exchange will be 624, 625, or 626.
If the 5-digit extension number begins with a 1, the exchange will be 301.
  • 4-1234 = 612-624-1234
  • 5-1234 = 612-625-1234
  • 6-1234 = 612-626-1234
