Forms in the context of Jadu Connect are not the same as in Jadu Central.
Jadu Connect Case Forms are the logical grouping of fields available to Jadu Central at specific stages of a case's lifecycle, such as at the time of creating or updating a case.
Configuring these forms allows you to define which data is captured, updated, or maintained as a case moves through its workflow.
Form Types
Case Types have two default forms that are already created for you and a third type of form that you can create yourself.
- Create form: this form determines which fields will be sent to Jadu Connect from the initial Jadu Central form when it creates a new case. There can be only 1 Create form.

- Edit form: this form determines which fields are available to manually edit in the Jadu Connect case details. There can be only 1 Edit form.

- Normal (transition) form: this form is used to update or add relevant fields during various workflow transitions. There can be any number of Normal forms.

Notes:
- The Edit form should only be used to make fields available for manual changes for production support. As a best practice, you should add all fields used in your case type to the Edit form.
- The Edit form should not be used with the Edit Case template in Jadu Central. If a field is on the Jadu Connect Edit form and does not map to a field in the Jadu Central Edit Case template, it will be cleared out in Jadu Connect when Jadu Central edits the case.
