Grouper: Delete a Folder

Folders can be deleted. When deleting, there is an option to:

• Delete the folder and all of the items (sub-folders, groups, entities, etc) that are in the folder
• Delete only certain elements: i.e., empty sub-folders, all groups

Delete a Folder

1. Select My folders in the Quick links section of the left navigation.
2. Select the Folders I Manage tab.
3. Select the folder where you want to delete. The folder information is displayed.
4. Select the More Actions button in the top right. The drop-down menu expands displaying all available actions.
5. Select Delete and answer the generated questions.
   1. The first question asks if you want to delete all objects including the selected folder or if you want to only delete certain items.
      1. Selecting Delete All Items will display a confirmation selector
      2. Selecting to delete only certain items will display selectors for the different types of elements
   2. Select Delete when the questions are answered and the confirmation is selected.
