Grouper privileges are assigned to subjects or entities and allow a subject to do something in Grouper. Subjects are people and entities can be people or groups.
If a group is assigned privileges, all members of the group are indirectly assigned the privileges.
It is best practice to assign Grouper privileges to a group so that the changes of the membership of the assigned group can be updated and the privileges are updated automatically.
