Google Forms created with UMN accounts require form submitters to sign in with a UMN account by default. You can change this setting on any form you create.
Change the Settings of a Google Form
- Open the form while signed in with the account that owns the form.
- Click on the Settings tab at the top of the form.

- Click the dropdown arrow to expand the Responses section.
- Toggle the switch to the off position for the setting Restrict to users in University of Minnesota Twin Cities and its trusted organizations.

Anyone in the general public will then be able to view and submit your form, but not edit it.
