Getting Started
Licenses are available through Health Sciences Technology (HST) managed in conjunction with the College of Science and Engineering (CSE).
Use of BioRender has been conditionally approved in situations where there is no protected health information (PHI) or personal identifiable information (PII) entered into the vendor's system.
Licenses are available on a prorated basis through a purchase order (PO) tied to the Master Service Agreement (MSA).
License seat fee is $216.67, valid from 7/15/26 to 7/14/27. Complete the BioRender request form to obtain a license.
BioRender license subscriptions are for one year. A notice of 30 days in advance will be required to terminate the license(s), otherwise, the license(s) will auto-renew for another year beginning July 15th. Visit z.umn.edu/biorendertransfer to terminate or transfer license(s).
