This message is generated by Google and is not controlled by UMN. For this reason, the pop-up’s appearance and wording are not modifiable by University’s Google service teams. The University and other institutions have shared feedback with Google about its impact.

You may see this pop-up about transferring content after graduation (see screenshot below). The content reads in part, “Graduating soon? Keep all your emails and other files after you graduate.”

Impact on UMN users

If you are a UMN account holder and this pop-up appears, follow these steps:

  1. Select “x” and the pop-up will not appear again. (You do not need to select the “Transfer content” button
