The University of Minnesota has signed a multi-year agreement with VideoBlocks for Education to provide free access to a suite of video clips, audio clips and graphics to students, faculty, staff and vendors working with the University. Through the University's license, more than $10 million of quality, copyright-free digital content is available.
Note: You must be connected to the University of Minnesota Network to access.
If you are a student, faculty or staff member and need to use the stock content sites while off-campus, you will need to download a VPN client to access the University of Minnesota network first. Once you access the network through the VPN, you will be able to login to the stock content sites with your X-500 name and password as if you were on campus.
If a vendor working on University business would like access to the stock content sites, they will need a sponsored account. Once the account is set-up, the vendor will also need a VPN client to access the University network and then can login to the sites using their sponsored account information.
Click the appropriate link below and you will be transferred to a non-University site to search for your content. All content must be individually downloaded from this library, and not stored on a shared server.
