Provide students access to digital content via an all-inclusive access program with the University of Minnesota Bookstores
Overview
VitalSource Bookshelf provides access to digital content at a cost-effective price for students via an all-inclusive access program with the University of Minnesota Bookstores, using VerbaConnect. Students are able to access content on the first day of class and may opt out from purchasing the digital content within the first two weeks of class. The VitalSource integration can be used to deliver the eText to students in Canvas.
Important: Beginning with the Fall 2024 semester, the Course Works integration will replace the VitalSource Bookshelf Inclusive Access and Bookshelf Direct Digital Access integrations in Canvas. The Bookshelf integrations will no longer be used following the conclusion of the Summer 2024 semester.
