Grouper: Manually Attest a Group

The attestation will notify admins when the recertify time has expired. See the article Create or Edit an Attestation.

If attestation is configured for a group, an admin can attest a group at any time.

If the time to recertify a group has expired, there will be a message at the top of the Members panel that states the group's membership needs to be attested. There will be a button to mark the group as reviewed.

  1. Select My Groups in the Quick links section of the left navigation.
  2. Select the Groups I Manage tab.
  3. Select the Group you want to attest. The group information is displayed.
  4. Review all of the users in the group. Once reviewed, select the "Mark group as reviewed" option.

If the time to recertify a group has not expired, there will be no message at the top. To attest the group, use the more actions button and select Attestation.

  1. Select the More Actions button in the top right. The drop-down menu expands displaying all available actions.
  2. Select Attestation. The attestation page is displayed
  3. Select the Attestation Actions button. A menu is displayed.
  4. Select Attest Group as Reviewed. A confirmation message is displayed at the top of the page.
