General Tips for Making a Call in Clearspan Communicator
- To make a call and receive a call you need to be on a device with a working speaker and microphone.
- If your device does not have a speaker and/or microphone, then it is recommended to use headphones and/or an external microphone.
- Extensions (the 5 digits at the end of a UMN phone number) still work in the VOIP system. If the person you are calling has a UMN extension, you can dial that to call them.
- Communicator: Troubleshooting and Known Errors
- If you have not typed a number in the Dialpad , then the first click of the Call button will autofill the most recent number from your Call History.
- When doing this, clicking the Call button a second time calls that number like it normally does when making a call (on this page).
