Adobe Acrobat: Install for Work at Home Use or Non Managed University Owned Device

Work at Home Rights for Acrobat are available for faculty and staff under the University of Minnesota's Enterprise license for Acrobat Pro DC. Please note that retired staff and faculty are not eligible (that includes emeritus). 

These directions apply to non-managed University-owned devices, or personally-owned devices used for University work.


Install Acrobat

Download Acrobat Pro install files from Adobe.
Select and download the installer for your Operating System.

To install Acrobat, follow Adobe's Installation Instructions.
You my need to request Admin-level access for installation.

Activate Acrobat

When installation is finished, start Acrobat, and sign in to activate your license.

  1. Start Acrobat.
  2. Enter your University of Minnesota email address when sign in is requested and then select Continue
  3. Select Company or School Account if requested.
  4. Use your UMN internetID and password to complete signing in through UMN authentication.
