Usability Services

Save time and money by talking to your users.

Usability and user experience (also known as UX) analysis can help web project and website teams better understand the people who use a technology or website.

Web Project and Purchasing (RFP) Teams

If your unit will be procuring or building a web technology or website for use at the University, we can help you with:

  • Obtaining user feedback through a variety of methods from persona development to task-based usability evaluations
  • Usability analysis of vendor products submitted as part of Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

By learning why and when your users struggle, you can provide a better user experience and lower the cost of training, development, and support.

Instructors and Researchers

We can also help faculty provide students with real-life exposure to user experience work through:

  • Usability lab tours
  • Class visits
  • Consultations about incorporating usability in your curriculum
  • Use of the usability lab for research projects
