About User Groups

Qualtrics user groups offer you a way to share Qualtrics mailing lists and libraries with other UMN Qualtrics users. You can also share surveys with a single user group, as opposed to multiple individual users, to manage survey collaboration.

Only University of Minnesota Qualtrics users can be added to user groups. Collaborators outside the University of Minnesota need a University of Minnesota login to access shared Qualtrics contact lists and libraries related to a user group.

Managing User Groups

Only UMN Qualtrics Brand Administrators can create and modify membership in user groups. 

Creating a New User Group

To create a new Qualtrics user group, contact [email protected] with the following information: 

  • The name you would like your user group to have 
  • A list of members you would like included in the group, identified by UMN internet ID 

In order to be added to a user group, an individual must have an active UMN Qualtrics account. You can include departmental accounts in user groups.
