LinkedIn Learning Contract Expiration

Planned change for LinkedIn Learning Expiration in April 2022

As of April 15, 2022, the University’s contract with LinkedIn Learning will expire. The Office of Information Technology has decided not to pursue renewal because:

  • Alternatives are readily available for individuals to pursue.
  • Systemwide licensing for the University is not cost-effective at current usage levels.
  • Vendor’s business model no longer aligns closely with the University's mission.

This information was shared with Canvas instructors of affected courses in an email on October 26, 2021 which listed their courses from Fall 2015 through the present that include links to LinkedIn Learning.
