Upcoming Changes to Tools Integrated with Canvas

In Spring 2024, a number of changes are coming to tools integrated with Canvas. Academic Technology tries to minimize impacts on instructors and students, but often the vendor drives when changes take place. Here is a list of changes and migrations taking place over the coming months. This webpage will be updated as information becomes available.

Depending on the change and its impact, you may receive more information in the Teaching with Technology newsletter, an announcement posted on the Canvas dashboard, or an email from the business owner or vendor. For some changes, there may be no communication at all.

April 2024: Early LTI v1.3 deployments

08 April: Macmillan Learning LTI v1.3 to deploy
10 April: zyBooks LTI v1.3 to deploy
16 April: Flatworld Homework LTI v1.3 to deploy
16 April: SoftChalk Cloud LTI v1.3 to deploy
16 April: VoiceThread LTI v1.3 to deploy
16 April: Google Assignments LTI 1.3
