Zoom: Video Not Working On Lenovo Devices
If the video area on your Lenovo laptop looks like a grey box with a crossed-out camera icon, try these troubleshooting steps.
Note: The following steps are for Lenovo computers running Windows 10. For Windows 7 or 8, see the Zoom Help Center.
- Open the Windows Start Menu and search for Lenovo.
- Open the application called Lenovo Settings or Lenovo Companion.
If you do not have either of these applications, install one of them from the Windows App Store.
- Within the application, select CAMERA from the top icons.
- Scroll to the last camera setting; change the Privacy Mode from On to Off.
