In the previous version of UM Analytics (OBIEE 11g), any analysis that appeared on a dashboard would automatically run as soon as it was opened. This was often problematic and could cause performance issues.
In the new version of UM Analytics (OBIEE 12c), you can now set the dashboard to prompt the user when the dashboard is first opened.
- Navigate to the Dashboard
- Click Edit
- Click the dashboard properties button
- Check the box for Prompt before Opening
- Click OK
