The Integrated component Person Lookup allows submitters to search for a person by entering either an internetID or emplid and displays the person's Preferred Name and Email Address.
UMN - Person Lookup
Description: Allows submitters to search for a person by entering either an internetID or emplid and displays the person's Preferred Name and Email Address.
- Note: The UMN - Person Lookup integrated component can only be used on forms that are behind the UMN sign-in page. This requirement will be verified at the time of migration.

Form Builder Setup Required
- Add UMN - Person Lookup integrated component onto a page.
- Add the page to the Form Structure. After adding the page, you will see the following required input in the Page Setup section:
- Allow Submitter to Edit Email Address? Choose whether the Email Address returned can be edited by the submitter.

- Allow Submitter to Edit Email Address? Choose whether the Email Address returned can be edited by the submitter.
- Select Save.
Notes:
- Email addresses entered by the submitter will be automatically checked with the UMN Email Address validation. This enforces an @umn.edu email address; campus-specific email addresses will not work.
- If the Allow Submitter to Edit Email Address? input field is set to No and the IC returns Suppressed or No person found, the submitter will not be able to progress to the next page.
