Grouper: Copy a Group

When copying a group, the copy group form will have the old Group Name and Group ID populated in the fields. These must be changed.

Copy a Group

1. Select My groups in the Quick links section of the left navigation. A table is displayed showing all of your groups.
2. Select the Group. The group information page is displayed.
3. Select the More Actions button in the top right. A dropdown menu is displayed showing all actions.
4. Select Copy Group. The copy group page is displayed.
   1. Enter the name for the new group.
   2. Enter the group ID for the new Group. Generally, this is the name without the spaces.
   3. Input the destination folder name in the "Copy into this folder" section.
5. Select options for the new group.
6. Select Copy. A confirmation message appears at the top of the page, and the group information page is displayed.
