Breadcrumbs or a breadcrumb trail is a secondary navigation system that indicates to a user where they are within a site and how they got there. The term was inspired from a tale of Hansel and Gretel where a trail of breadcrumbs is used by the main characters to track their footsteps through the woods. Drupal Lite uses the Easy Breadcrumb module, which creates breadcrumbs to a content page from the homepage.
