Canvas: Import Scores from an USAS Data Sheet

You can import scores to your Canvas gradebook from paper exams provided by the University Survey & Assessment Services (USAS)

Ordering paper exam answer sheets

  1. Go to Order Testing Services
  2. Download the Exam Report Order Form
    • Click Scranton Exam Report Order Form
  3. Fill it out completely.
  4. If you need additional Scantron sheets, send a message through the USAS email ([email protected]) with the following information:
    • Name
    • Department
    • EFS #
    • Delivery (Pick Up, Campus Mail, Campus Courier and the relevant information if Mail or Courier is selected)

Preparing the USAS data file

In the Excel file from USAS, locate the sheet labeled "Canvas" and save it as a CSV file. From there, it will be nearly ready for import to Canvas and only needs minor changes.
