AppsToGo: Sign In Using Citrix Workspace or Citrix Light

Beginning December 1st, 2022 you can use optional clientless access for AppsToGo, referred to as the Citrix light version. Users who are unable to run the Citrix Workspace client on their device can opt for the light version of the client that does not require any installation and uses your web browser, such as Firefox or Chrome, to open apps.

With the addition of the light version option, the steps to sign into Citrix Workspace have changed. Use this article for steps to log into either Citrix Workspace or the Citrix light version.

Notes:

  • If you are able to use the full client, please continue to do so as it provides full functionality and an improved experience.
  • Citrix light does not provide direct access to the local drives. Use the full Citrix Workspace client for direct access to local storage.
  • There is a known issue with launching Cloud Desktops via Citrix Light. Use the full Citrix Workspace client if you are accessing the Cloud Desktops.
