This service provides systems used to manage compliance for the University's research portfolio.

  • The Office of Information Technology provides technical support to the Office of the Vice President for Research.
  • The Office of the Vice President for Research provides support to users of the tools.

Highlights

  • eProtocol is a web-based technology that enables principal investigators, staff and committee members to prepare, submit, review and communicate about IACUC and IBC protocols.

  • ETHOS is a web-based technology that enables principal investigators, staff and committee members to prepare, submit, review and communicate about IRB protocols.
  • eResearch Central is a central location where researchers and their staff can access the University's electronic research-related documents and forms.

  • InfoEd is a portal that supports grant and contract activity. Web-based modules streamline processes, enable proactive monitoring of compliance, and enhance internal and external collaboration.

  • Material Transfer Agreement Routing Form (MTARF) is a web-based form in the Electronic Grants Management System (EGMS) that an investigator uses whenever he or she intends to obtain proprietary materials for research use from an outside source.
