CDes IT attempts to provide as much assistance as possible for faculty, staff, and students with the wide variety of software and hardware in use in the college.

CDes has partnered with Technology Help for general technology training, see Technology Training Opportunities  for more information on available services.

We have collected a variety of online resources for various software titles and have made them available to faculty and students via our computer labs and classrooms website.

Lab attendants stationed in the open computer labs on each campus (Rapson 127 and McNeal 69) can train users to use the flatbed and large-format scanners available in each location. They can also provide advice to students on how to best prepare their work for printing and plotting on our specialized output devices.

CDes IT staff do not, as a general rule, provide software training or support beyond what is required to install and support common routine problems. We do try to find other resources for people who have questions we can't answer.

Hours of service: Lab attendants are available during the hours listed under our computer lab service description. Other support is available during regular business hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
