Code42 CrashPlan is a data protection/backup solution used by faculty and staff of many Colleges and Units at the UofM. There are two ways to restore data from CrashPlan
Restore data from the Desktop Client:
Simply navigate to the restore section of the Code42 CrashPlan client and select which file(s) or folder(s) you would like to restore. Restore Tip: If you are restoring large amounts of data to your computer it is best to use the Code42 CrashPlan desktop Client. Select the files/folders you want to restore. You can also change the date of the last version of your backup you want to restore from.
Restore data from the Code42 CrashPlan web client:
Browse to the CrashPlan server website: crashplan.com/login (or z.umn.edu/backup) and login using your full @umn.edu email address. Select your computer, then click on the restore files button.
