This product is made available to University of Minnesota departments through the Microsoft EES Agreement.  There are no individual charges to departments to use this license. 

Please note that the Microsoft Campus Agreement only includes Standard Client Access Licenses (CALs), if you need Enterprise CALs you will need to purchase those through our Microsoft Select Plus contract, which is currently held and managed by CDW-G.  .

Restrictions

As of July 13, 2010, Microsoft announced they will no longer support windows XP SP2, Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Client. Microsoft will probably continue to issue important security updates for XP and 2000 after the official support period ends, but will no longer issue service packs or other non-critical updates. More information read the InformationWeek Article. Please see the Support Lifecycle Index for dates of other products that may be transitioning support phases as well.
