WebEx: Access to WebEx for the University of Minnesota
The University of Minnesota enterprise WebEx became available to all students, faculty and staff on January 1, 2015.
Join a WebEx meeting
It is not necesary to have a WebEx account to join a WebEx meeting. Meeting participants who are from outside the University of Minnesota will just need the meeting URL, which is generated when you schedule the meeting, to attend the meeting.
To join a WebEx meeting:
Follow the link for the meeting that was sent to you via email by the meeting host.
Navigate to WebEx (umn.webex.com) and enter the meeting number that was sent to you via email by the meeting host.
Note: If you do not have the meeting URL or meeting number, contact the person who invited you to the meeting for this information.
Starting January 1, 2018, UMN students will no longer be able to host meetings using WebEx. This change does not affect students’ ability to join WebEx meetings hosted by faculty, instructors or staff at webex.umn.edu.Additional information
