We provide on-site technical assistance for webcasts of meetings and events through WebEx or YouTube Live. Requests must be submitted at least two weeks before the date of the event to allow for adequate preparation and scheduling.
We bring the necessary audio, video, and computer equipment to broadcast your event as a live session and record for on-demand delivery.
What We Need from You
Request: To request support for your event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-Help (612-301-4357) to schedule a consultation.
Room scheduling: When scheduling a room, you will need to schedule enough time to allow for an hour of setup and a half-hour for tear down. Also, the room needs a wired network jack that has DHCP enabled.
Collect media: Any presentation materials that will be used for the event should be sent to the event support staff two days before the event.
Obtain release from speakers: It is your responsibility to collect a standard release form from the presenters before the event.

On-site technical assistance is available at $75.60/hour per technician for University departments.
The hourly rate applies to the entire time the technician is on site, including one hour for transportation to/from campus venue, one hour setup and a half-hour for tear down.
