TransForm Form Designer: Understand TransForm vs. HTML Form Elements
TransForm Form Designer uses some vocabulary for its online forms that differs from conventional HTML vocabulary. If you are familiar with common HTML web forms, understanding the difference in vocabulary may be helpful.
Textbox allows you to display text in your form, similar to a label element in an HTML form.
TransForm's Editbox is similar to HTML's text field (INPUT element with type=text).
TransForm's Multi-Editbox is similar to HTML's TEXTAREA element.
TransForm's default Combobox is similar to HTML form's dropdown list (SELECT element). The ComboBox also has an option to permit values not in list, which causes the ComboBox to become a combination of a text field and a dropdown list, allowing users to enter a value in the text field instead of choosing from the dropdown list.
