Hello. If you want to create a web site, you can use Netfiles to host your web files. All you have to do is create your site files (maybe using an HTML editor like Dreamweaver), then create a public directory in NetFiles, and finally, upload the files to the public folder.
To quickly demo this, I have a simple HTML page I created and I want everyone to be able to access it.
Before I do anything else, I need to make sure my “landing” page is named index.html.
Next, I’ll create a new folder called “www”--you can call it whatever you wish.
Now, I’ll change permissions for the folder to allow for public viewing.
For more details on permissions, check out the advanced sharing options video.
Now, I’ll open the folder and upload my site files to it.
And I’m done!
Now, I just have to distribute the URL for index.html.
I can get it by going to Manage > Summary and copying the Full URL.
Now anybody can see my site when they go to the URL....
