Overview
Perusall is a social annotation tool that integrates with Canvas via LTI assignments. Perusall allows students and their instructors to collaboratively markup texts, bringing the discussion to the text.
Highlights
Current Status of Integration
As of December 2020, Perusall required a substantial fee before signing a FERPA agreement, which is required for security testing. The original requester withdrew their request because it was cost prohibitive.
Hypothesis is a similar tool that is integrated with Canvas.
