Control and customize search results on your website.
The University's Google Search Appliance (GSA) is a powerful pair of computers that allow everyone to quickly find specific information on University Web pages. Access to the GSA is open to web managers or owners of a University-affiliated site that wish to have greater control of search results on their page. User accounts and GSA collections are provisioned by the Web Search team after the owner of the collection goes through a brief training on the GSA and how to use it.
The Web Search team may request authorization from department or unit leadership before granting GSA access on a case-by-case basis. The Web Search team also reserves the right to decline GSA access. Anyone outside of the University must coordinate with the University department/unit they are working with to adjust their collection, and changes must be made by one of the department/unit's GSA search managers that has been granted access. Contractors, vendors, or any other third party will not be granted access to the GSA under any circumstance.
